Coffee With A Cop

Deja Brew continually partners with the Pennsylvania State Police from the Gettysburg barracks. Troopers come to the coffee shop and greet the public answering questions they may have. There is never an agenda, only the intention of breaking down barriers between law enforcement officers and the citizens they serve. The meet and greets are always a customer favorite, especially with our younger customers.

Cupcake Wars

Deja Brew owner Steve was asked to be a judge at the New Oxford Community Library annual cupcake wars; a cupcake decorating contest for youth.

Grinch Visits Deja Brew

Days before Christmas, while the Coffee With A Cop event was in progress, The Grinch popped into the coffee shop to greet customers. He was a big hit with the children. He made no attempt to steal Christmas with all those Pennsylvania State troopers present.

New Oxford Chocolate Tour

Each year, the Saturday before Valentines Day, several businesses in the New Oxford community participate in the annual New Oxford Chocolate Tour. This free event is an opportunity for small businesses to give back to the patrons who visit the participating businesses. Each businesses on the tour gives away a free sample of chocolate in some form. Deja Brew being a bakery, opts to hand out fresh baked brownies, both in regular and gluten-free options. Each business donates a gift from their shop for a large gift basket that all tour patrons may enter to win.
